Just two weeks until the LUCY (Librarianship Upgrades for Children and Youth Services) a multicultural conference: "Sharing Cultures through Children's Literature!”  This conference features 4 authors; Christina Diaz Gonzalez, Cheryl Hudson, Jacqueline Jules, and Janet Wong.   It will be on August 6, 2011 at Old Dominion University’s TriCities Center in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia.  Attendees will interact with these authors in small groups. This one day conference is made possible through LUCY, a grant funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
