Graduate Institute of Library and Information Science, National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan invites applicants and nominations for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor.

1. Qualification:

We seek faculty in the area of, but not limited to, information organization, library and information services, and information science. A doctoral degree in library and information science or an appropriate related field is required.

2. Required Documents:

·          Copy of Ph.D. diploma, certification of work experience, and transcripts

·          Copy of passport or the front and back of Identification Card of Republic of China

·          Curriculum vitae

·          Copy of TEACHER’S CERTIFICATE

·          A publication list of recent five years (published after August.1, 2007, doctoral dissertation included)。

·          Full text of one published representative work of first-named authorship.

·          A list of courses taught or interested to teach with syllabi and bibliography.

 

3.       Finalists will be invited to come for an interview with our faculty and make a presentation to students. The institute will not able to compensate on any cost.

4.       Rank and date of appointment: Faculty rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hiring date begins on February 1, 2012.
