Don also was recently accepted into the Association of Research Libraries Initiative to Recruit a Diverse Workforce. It is a two-year program filled with professional development, networking, job-training and scholarship funds. It has the end goal of successful job placement after completion of the program. This summer he received an Association of Research Libraries (ARL) fellowship in its competitive Career Enhancement Program and has been interning at the National Library of Medicine, in Bethesda, Md.

Marisol just came to SLIS this summer with a graduate assistantship to work with the school’s Center for the Study of Information and Religion.

Congratulations to these two outstanding students!
