Free Development Assistance
If you've always wanted to incorporate a new idea into your course, but are not quite sure how to make it work or lack the time to implement it, ask us to help. Whether it's creating an individual learning element or assisting with structuring a whole course in Blackboard, we're here to work with you. Asking for assistance is easy. To begin the process, launch the online request form.

UT's Summer Teaching Institute 2011 comes to a successful end as faculty showcased their plans for upcoming courses. The Institute was sponsored by the OIT Instructional Services and the TENN TLC and funded by the Provost office. It offered a unique opportunity for tenured and tenure-track faculty, adjunct faculty, lecturers, and graduate teaching assistants to receive authentic, hands-on learning experience and guidance in designing and developing exemplary courses in one of three delivery formats: face-to-face, blended or hybrid, and online.

Offerings in July include:

• Course Management System: Introduction to Blackboard, Best Practices for Online@UT Assessment Tools, Blogs and Wikis in Online@UT, Using the Assignment Manager and SafeAssign in Online@UT, and Grade Center Best Practices

• Web Site Design: Dreamweaver; Webpage (HTML)

• Introductory SharePoint for Faculty and Staff
• SharePoint for Team Site Administration
