Good morning,

Just a quick reminder that registration is open for next week’s 2011 TIGER Discretionary Grants webinar that is scheduled for July 27, 2011 from 2-3 PM EDT. Please see registration details below.

US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced on July 6, 2011 that there is $527 million in funding available for a third round of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant program. This grant program will provide funding to States, cities, local governments, and other partnerships which submit applications for projects which have significant impact on the Nation, a metropolitan area or a region. When reviewing applications, focus will be on those projects which can quickly create and preserve jobs as well as encourage economic activity.

During this webinar, representatives from the USDOT's Office of the Secretary will discuss the program, selection criteria, evaluations, and application process for the next round of TIGER Discretionary Grants.
