Dominican University (IL) seeks an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science. The position is available in August of 2011. Applicants should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas: * internet content development and emerging technologies * engineering and mathematics librarianship with interests in data curation and cyberinfrastructures * digital preservation Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. in library and information science or cognate area and be committed to and capable of excellent teaching and relevant scholarship in a collegial and interdisciplinary environment. Consideration will be given to applicants who expect a degree to be completed by August 2012.
