A web conference has been arranged by the Michigan Tech University to
showcase a noteworthy geo-spatially based analytical system developed in
Brazil. This event will showcase four aspects of this multi-modal
analysis system used by the public and private sector in Brazil. The
analysis system was developed by UFSC's LabTrans and is widely used by
DNIT, the Federal Highway Administration of Brazil, for a variety of
roadway concessionaire oversight and management activities, roadway
condition and inventory management, national and regional freight
mobility analysis and forecasts, regional and national rail system
planning activities and port access monitoring and management. A
number of private sector freight and transport related applications are
also supported through operation of this impressive system.

The web conference is scheduled for next Tuesday, June 28th, between 2
and 3:30pm EST. See the attached flyer for more details.
