Hi Sheri,

Almost all of this information is in the Excellence In Extension Database (at least for states that have completed it). If you do not have access, you might talk to your director about this. Last email I got, only a handful of states had completed 2011 information. When data are complete, there is a lot of useful information.

The response for Tennessee is:

1.       95 Counties

2.       95 county offices (Lake county has 1 agent, 1 support staff; all others are two or more agents with support staff)

3.       3 Regional Directors

4.       31, 31 and 33 counties in Western, Central and Eastern, respectively.

Take care,

Herb

Subject: District/Regional Directors?

Hello Everyone!

I hope this email finds you all doing really well, and getting in at least a small vacation this summer.

If you have the chance, could you please send me the following information for your State:

1.  How many total counties in your state?

2.  How many Counties in your state have an Extension presence?

3.  How many District/Regional Directors you have?

4.  How many Counties each District Director covers?

Thanks so much!

I plan on being in OK City this year to see everyone!  I really look forward to connecting with you all there.

Best regards,

Sheri
