Don't forget -- Tuesday, May 3, 5:30 pm -- Dr. Steven Koonin, Under Secretary, Department of Energy, will address "America’s Energy Challenges." The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the Toyota Auditorium at the University of Tennessee, Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy 1640 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee. He will address U.S. energy challenges: energy security, U.S. competitiveness, and environmental impacts. He will also discuss the DOE’s Quadrennial Technology Review (http://energy.gov/qtr), which is designed to put these issues into context and provide a framework for the Department’s energy programs.
