Grant Awards Announcement: 
Connecting to Collections Statewide Implementation Grants

Washington, DC—The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) announced today 6 awards totaling $1,402,322 matched with $92,270 of non-federal funds for Connecting to Collections Statewide Implementation Grants.  IMLS received 12 applications requesting $2,574,747 in funds.

“IMLS has long supported projects that seek to address the conservation and preservation needs documented by the Heritage Health Index (HHI),” said Susan Hildreth, IMLS Director. “Statewide Implementation Grants are an important component of the Connecting to Collections initiative; which provides an opportunity for states and territories to maintain and improve safe conditions for their collections.”
