ELIS 1-3 as continuation? UCLA & Pittsburgh examples from catalogs I wanted to just provide 2 other examples of ELIS 1-2-3 from UCLA & also from Pittsburgh libraries where we can see the first and second editions on the one item holdings record. UCLA has for the first original record 1968-2003 in brackets. Then I have provided the record for the online resource for the 3rd edition. Again, these are just examples all related to the original question about how to determine which libraries owned ELIS-3 and what we can easily find or not. Sorry for all these records, but I hope they have been of some further interest. Many cataloging courses today seem to focus on Print and then Metadata, yet it's important to also remember there are many many other issues that get skipped over in our basics in terms of where to look & what gets "hidden" in the process. series, e-resources , print Also, I would think that searching local catalogs these days tends to be more updated than WorldCat records would be anymore. Just sharing these examples for those who are interested in the discussion on cataloging ELIS 1, 2, & 3. and how to locate holdings etc I hope it is of some assistance & interest in the challenges for libraries today & users.
