Topic: Understanding the Policy and Program Structure of National and
International Freight Corridor Programs: International Scan

Description: Hear findings from the Understanding the Policy and Program
Structure of National and International Freight Corridor Programs
international scan. Learn what planning and implementation activities
the EU and the countries have undertaken on freight transportation
corridor programs - how they developed, evolved and implemented those
programs on a national level and cross jurisdictional level. This scan
shed light on the possibilities of North American freight corridors and
identified policies, mechanisms, and programs that the national
government, and State and local governments will need to address should
the United States develop a national freight corridor program.
