By Dr. Adam Taylor, Associate Professor and Forest Products Extension Specialist

Tennessee is a part of the world's largest center of production and consumption of forest products.

At the same time, the forests of Tennessee are growing and could supply more wood to the world. The forest industry is the leading user of bio-power and life-cycle assessments clearly demonstrate that wood products are superior to their alternatives in terms of environmental impact.

Dr. Taylor will discuss the counter-intuitive proposal...we should kill more trees to help save the Earth.

Brown Bag Thursday, April 28, 2011
1pm-2pm in the Pendergrass Library on the Ag campus.

Sponsored by Make Orange Green, UT Libraries and the UT Center for Renewable Carbon.
