Below is an email sent by Micheal Cody- teacher of taijutsu- he has contacted the martial arts club and is wanting to set up a benefit for the Japan earthquake. He only had spots left for instructors Judo and Karate for the time slot allotted. A few members from our club are very interested in attending. More details will be avaiable soon about the schedule and final plans.

We are all aware of the terrible tragedy in Japan. The Musei Tora Bujinkan Shibu would like to work with other martial artists to send help to the people of this hurting but not broken country.

We are proposing a benefit martial arts demonstration, with all proceeds to go to the Japanese Red Cross. Each dojo, free of the absence of ego, pride, or personal gain, will come together as a community, and share their heart and their... martial art with other groups in the area that may or may not know anything about your particular art. Each instructor will get an equal amount of time to demonstrate/teach techniques.

Date: April 23rd

Time: 10am - 5pm (1 hour break for lunch)

Location:
7544 Oak Ridge Hwy, Knoxville, TN.
If too many people will be present, we will look for a larger training space.

Please contact Michael Cody to get involved:
