Hey everybody,
Melissa & I both have a departmental exam this Wednesday from 5-8pm, and Ben has a project presentation. As a club we are required to send one of our officers & another club member to the Sport Club officer meeting on Wednesday at 6 pm; Madeline Shelly & Molly Sullivan volunteered to attend that meeting.
In other words, all of our officers are going to be tied up during our UTCH meeting time this week, so we will NOT be meeting this Wednesday.
Remember, we have the River Rescue this Saturday from 10am - 2pm in correspondence with IJAMS Nature Center. However, we will meet at Island Home Park area, NOT at IJAMS. This is right across Gay Street bridge basically, I'll send out directions later. Let me know if you need a ride ASAP.
The River Rescue is a lot of fun, despite the fact we are picking up litter, we will be paddling canoes along the Tennessee River and riding in motor boats too. Afterwards, the club is going to provide you with FREE PIZZA for lunch at Barley's. If you aren't signed up yet, and you want to help out, let me know.
