This June, the group I work with (Cure4Kids.org) at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, will be hosting a conference focusing on topics in health informatics, ehealth, health literacy, cancer education, and health and science education. The call for papers and presentations is currently open, please pass this along to anyone you know who may be interested.

Call for papers:

 

Presentations and papers are currently being accepted for the first Cure4Kids Global Summit – Advancing Cancer Education and Healthy Living in Our Communities, to be hosted by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Thursday June 9, 2011 – Saturday June 11, 2011.

 

The aim of this three-day conference is to improve health and science education in classrooms and communities around the world. It will bring together leading educators, innovators, and pioneers in a multidisciplinary forum to promote improvements and innovations in health and science education. The selected themes for the conference are Innovations in Health Education and 21st Century Science Education.

Conference participants will be able to attend talks from speakers specializing in a variety of disciplines including biomedical informatics, public health policy, public eHealth, health literacy, and classroom education. The conference will also feature a research forum that will include oral presentations and a poster session, as well as a workshop day for teachers and educators.

 

Presentations and papers should relate to one of the conference objectives or themes listed on the conference page. All materials in PDF or Word format can be submitted online through March 30th, 2011.
