<http://webwise2011.library.du.edu/agendawed.php> :

Museums and libraries have become key providers of opportunities to
develop 21st century skills in collaboration with formal education
partners. The STEM disciplines and professions need people who have a
global perspective, self-directed learners, creative and comfortable
with a wide array of rapidly changing information technologies. IMLS has
provided a number of opportunities and venues to develop community,
university, and school partnerships to provide 21st century skills with
a STEM focus. Several of IMLS and MacArthur-funded projects have created
innovative and engaging spaces, content, and experiences for students at
all levels to learn about STEM concepts and techniques. Preparing
library and museum professionals to work in these environments will also
be discussed.

The WebWise 2011 conference takes place on Wednesday, March 9, through
Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.
