The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Library and Information Studies seeks an instructor for LIS 734, Modern Archives Administration for summer 2011. This course is an introduction to the archives profession and cover the basic theory and practice of archives and records administration, including the uses of primary sources in research; appraisal; access; and preservation. For summer 2011 (June 13 - August 7), the course will be taught entirely online and the instructor need not be in Madison. 
 
Qualifications: At least three years experience in archival administration and familiarity with teaching strategies and tools in online education required.
