On Monday, March 14 2011, the below message was sent to ALISE personal members: Dear ALISE Members, The ALISE Board of Directors has just released the following statement regarding the events that have occurred in Wisconsin. They asked that I share it with all of you. Sincerely, Kathleen Combs ALISE Executive Director The Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) commends the action taken by the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Library and Information Studies, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Faculty Senate, and others who have shown public support of those standing up for workers' rights. We applaud the support shown for our colleagues in Wisconsin as they seek to protect the right to collective bargaining.
