Position Description

Analyst II

Develops and implements CAD systems to eliminate limitations associated with creating merchandise plans involving multiple processes; identifying through Business Architect, completing support issues or direction from upper management; developing and implementing through ISD when necessary, a third-party or resources within the team but will be guided by this position; ensuring integration with multiple systems and business units throughout the company.

Creates complex programs processes for fixes or enhancements requiring programming system changes to CAD systems by developing programs as requests come for immediate resolution and for ensuring that the short-term fixes are integrated into the current processes as needed.

As requested, assist in troubleshooting problems that occur in all systems related to retail planning including space allocation, floor plan allocation, modular assignments, fixture ordering, project scheduling by researching system errors and logs, reviewing programming code and executed tasks; works to resolve problems identified by determining process owner, correction and implementing the fix.

Identifies gaps or bottle-necks in the current process and suggests possible solutions that may impact multiple business units within the company.

Logs trouble issues that are encountered and works with training to see if new training is required.

Minimum Qualifications

4 years of technical support experience at Wal-Mart (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems).

OR

5 years in the computer industry (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems).

OR

3 years in the computer industry (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems); AND an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related fields.

OR

5 years of technical support experience at Wal-Mart (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems).

Additional Preferred Qualifications

7 years in the computer industry (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems).

OR

3 years in the computer industry (in troubleshooting and technical coordination of computer systems); AND a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related fields.
