Join STC-ETC for Dinner & This Year’s Hill Lecture by M. Mitchell Waldrop

 

What: Annual Hill Lecture

This year’s Hill Lecturer is M. Mitchell Waldrop, a writer and editor for the journal Nature.  He is also the author of three popular science books and was a writer and editor for Science for 11 years.  He holds a Ph.D. in physics and an M.S. in science journalism.  Please see the attached news release for more information.

He has selected for his Hill Lecture topic "Lessons My Stories Taught Me."

When: Tuesday, 12 April 2011

We’ll meet for dinner at 6 p.m. at the Copper Cellar on The Strip at 6 p.m. (on the Cumberland Street Level).

 

The Hill Lecture will take place at 8 p.m. in the Shiloh Room of the University Center at the University of Tennessee.

 

Where: Copper Cellar & then the Shiloh Room

Copper Cellar: 1807 Cumberland Avenue, Knoxville, TN (Street Level)

Shiloh Room: University Center at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and Phillip Fulmer Way

 

Cost:

Everyone is invited to come to the pre-lecture dinner and pay for whatever you order. The lecture is free!
