Hello folks, A rep from Aerotek (staffing agency) just called me and asked me to announce the following to y'all. Note: it looks like the BS/BA issue is negotiable. Aerotek Scientific is always looking for qualified technical writers. Candidates with a B.S. degree and 5+ years experience in analytical, technical, process definition, and quality processes are preferred but not required. Basic duties would include: • Author comprehensive procedures, and document areas and functions. • Conduct interviews, researches, captures procedures and writes documents to completely and accurately capture organizational knowledge and practices, with the intended purpose of allowing for business continuity, and the development of a framework to assess efficiency and to create greater business controls. • Interview process owners to document and author the procedures being preformed within a particular area. • Develop and maintain acceptable standards for the content and format of all procedures and processes within each OEM. • Analyze and document changes and updates as they occur. • Assist other authors in the organization to migrate existing documents into the centralized knowledge management repository. • Assist departments as needed in the development of procedures, processes and training programs.
