The iSchool at Drexel, College of Information Science and Technology, has made a significant showing at iConference 2011 in Seattle, Washington, with more than a dozen faculty and doctoral students presenting.

• Dr. Robert Allen: Presenting “Visualization, Causation, and History.”

• Dr. Mike Atwood: Presenting "From Human Factors to Human Actors to Human Crafters" with doctoral student Monica Maceli.

• Drs. Andrea Forte and Sean Goggins: Presenting the workshop “Socio-Technical Research: Connecting Disciplines in the iSchools,” with representatives from several other institutions.
• Drs. Mick Khoo and Jennifer Rode: Presenting "The Sociotechnical Learning Object Slam Happening.”

• Dr. Gerry Stahl: Presenting "The Structure of Collaborative Problem Solving in a Virtual Math Team."

• Dr. Deborah Turner: Presenting "Materiality and Oral Documents" with PhD student Warren Allen.

• Dr. Chris Yang: Presenting "A Study of User Queries Leading to a Health Information Website."

• PhD student Caimei Lu: Presenting "Post-based Collaborative Filtering for Personalized Tag Recommendation," with Drs. Tony Hu and Jung-ran Park and student Jia Huang.

The iConference is an annual gathering of researchers and professionals from around the world who share the common goal of making a difference through the study of people, information, and technology.
