The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is seeking comments on seven upcoming MUTCD compliance dates, including those for traffic sign retroreflectivity, one-way signs, horizontal alignment warning signs, and traffic signal timing.  The 45-day comment period began on November 30, 2010, and will close on January 14, 2011.  This comment period offers public agencies, engineering consultants, businesses, and concerned citizens an opportunity to provide additional input and feedback regarding these compliance dates and their potential impacts.  Additional information on this comment period can be found in the attached document.  Comments can be submitted electronically at www.regulations.gov (enter FHWA-2010-0159 as the docket number).
