Troops: since the upgrades to RealPlayer are not backwards compatible, this is the cause of these problems.   I have tested the archived files using RealPlayer 11 - for this selection (only!! to my knowledge) Real possesses full functionality concerning your noted issues.   I suggest that this be the release of Real that you place on your PC.

Should you still encounter problems, the back row of PCs in CFD Lab, Perkins 317, have been set up for full support of ME 452.  Attached are the directions for viewing video files.   Elton Freeman, who set up these machnies, is copied hereon for reference.  AJB

I too cannot rewind or forward....crashes real player and gives an error stating that the files are corrupted.

I've also been unable to do rewind or forward on either real player or on the zip files of the presentation. I'd assumed it was just my computer until now.

To all,

I have real player on my machine, but trying to stream the video files comes with a link cannot be found error, and while the downloaded video files play, any attempt to rewind or fast forward the lecture causes realplayer to crash.

Can anyone else use the streaming links or rewind the lectures, or is everyone having similar problems?
