Dominican University and Chicago Public Library Offer Workshop on 21st
Century Skills 

Washington, DC-The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is
pleased to announce that Dominican University and the Chicago Public
Library will present a workshop on "21st Century Skills: How Does Your
Organization Stack Up?" The workshop will explore concepts introduced in
the IMLS report "Museums, Libraries and 21st Century Skills
<http://www.imls.gov/pdf/21stCenturySkills.pdf> ." 

The Chicago event, to be held on February 4, 2011, was inspired by
IMLS's national campaign, Making the Learning Connection, which is
intended to assist communities as they build their capacity for helping
individuals of all ages acquire essential 21st century skills such as
critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation,
communication and collaboration.
