Hi all,

The library program at Old Dominion University is in the second year of an IMLS grant – Librarianship Upgrades for Children and Youth Services (nicknamed LUCY). The grant focuses on multicultural continuing education for youth librarians.
There are two main aspects to LUCY at this time. Publishers send ODU review copies of books, and any that are multicultural become part of the free, non-selective online bibliography. Also, we design workshops and classes on various multicultural topics. Many of them are webinars or online learning experiences.
Visit our website , http://education.odu.edu/eci/lucy/ to see what is happening now. Or contact LUCY manager Roxanne Mills at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
