"Connections in Geometry and Physics: 2011" (GAP 2011)
Date: May 13-15, 2011
Location: Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Each year, the GAP conference brings together researchers who work at the interface between geometry and physics, and
serves to increase Canada's presence and visibility in geometry within the international mathematical community. The format
of the conference will again combine three separate but related themes in geometry and physics.
***The year's themes are: advances in Floer Theory, geometric flows, and the AdS/CFT correspondence.***
Organizers: Marco Gualtieri (Toronto), Spiro Karigiannis (Waterloo), Ruxandra Moraru (Waterloo),
Rob Myers (Perimeter), McKenzie Wang (McMaster).
