In anticipation of heavy budget cuts from the state of Ohio, Kent State University President Lester Lefton has announced hiring restrictions at the university that includes the position of the Director of the School of Library and Information Science, the search for which will be suspended until next year. Consequently, faculty members of Kent State University will not be holding interviews at ALISE. We are thankful for those who expressed an interest in this position and hope their continuing interest will persist into the following academic year.
