Blackboard Contract Renewal
The current UTK/Blackboard contract for Course Management Systems is set to expire on April 30, 2011. In keeping with current fiscal policies, a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) process has been initiated, and the competitive procurement process is in full swing. As part of the process, University Purchasing has arranged for three competing vendors to visit campus to provide product demonstrations on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. All three vendors have provided formal proposals for consideration in the procurement process. All interested faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend any of the open sessions.

Vendor Product Demonstrations
All demonstrations will be held in the Practice Presentation Room in the Commons of Hodges Library.
