I just asked a basic question --but now I see it offered in New York as Building a Digital Branch....:-)   terminologies terminologies... think it's same presenter
Just wondering ../ I like to just try to clarify what we are talking about and why I had asked the question of what was meant by 'electronic branch'    thx all  / kw

Having an effective, user-friendly online presence is essential, now more than ever, to libraries of all sizes. During this one-hour webinar, instructor David Lee King will take students through the process of building an online digital branch where customers can interact with both library staff and each other.

Description:
Every library needs an online presence. Whether you work at a large academic library or a public library in a small town, your library needs an active online community where customers can interact - with you and with each other. In this workshop, David Lee King will take you through the process of building an effective, user-friendly digital branch that will extend and enhance your library's online presence.

By the end of this program, participants will:
• Know the difference between a traditional library website and a digital branch
• Discover tips on expanding and enhancing the library's online presence 

Presenter:
David Lee King is the Digital Branch & Services Manager at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, where he plans, implements, and experiments with emerging technology trends. He speaks internationally about emerging trends, website management, digital experience, and social media, and recently published his first book, "Designing the Digital Experience".

But--if a 'digital manager' is to be responsible for the 'digital things' ...are they really the same as the 'electronic things' ...hmmm   this might confuse many people
