I should think it is the entire online accessible information world. No need to
build it with bricks and mortar. In fact, it exists right here in my home
office. More than fifteen years ago I had a student who submitted a brilliant
paper entitled, "The Floor Plan of the Virtual Library." It was both humorous
and insightful. I enjoyed it immensely. "Electronic Branch?" Let's hope it is
not a garage full of computers (unless there is coffee and cookies).
