The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) is the federally 
designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), which conducts 
transportation and environmental planning for Northeast Ohio. 

NOACA is seeking a qualified full-time freight and transit planner. 
Responsibilities include: collect and analyze freight and transit related 
materials; contribute to long range freight planning efforts; build relationships 
in both public and private sectors regarding freight/transit data and activities; 
and manage state and federal grant programs, including project application 
and selection processes. Must be able to review and report on goods 
movement data and freight corridor conditions for all modes of transportation. 

The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, and must 
work both independently and collaboratively. May be required to report findings 
to technical committees. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, 
reliable, and meets the job requirements.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, and freight and logistics issues.
