Technical Writer

Life Care Centers of America, Cleveland, TN

Consults with subject matter experts to develop/write/edit a wide variety of documents, i.e., policies and procedures, clinical procedures manuals, and software documentation. Will work as a team with one other technical writer.

 

Requirements

·         3-5 years of experience in technical writing required; experience in health care a plus

·            Bachelor’s degree in technical communication, English, or journalism required

·         Able to work as a team member, as well as alone, with minimal direct supervision

·         Strong English grammar skills

·         Excellent proofreading and editing skills

·         Proficient in document design and use of templates     

·         Highly detail-oriented and organized

·         Expertise with MS Word required

·         Experience with FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and SharePoint (or other CMS) desired    

·            Health care experience a plus
