Hey guys and gals,
To everyone who went on Fall Bash this past weekend, thanks for making it another great first trip! For everyone that missed it, don't worry, we've got many more fun trips coming up! Here are the trips we have in the works.
Full Moon Bike Ride- Thursday 9/23, Cades Cove. This should be a nice relaxing ride and this time it is an official club trip, so bike rentals are free and gas is covered.
White Water Kayaking- Friday 9/24-Sunday 9/26, Nantahala River. This will be a great trip for first time kayakers and experienced ones alike. We will try to do the river at least once on Saturday and possibly once more on Sunday. If you haven't kayaked before, we ask that you attend a roll session before going on this trip.
Backpacking in the Smokys- Saturday 10/2-Sunday 10/3, Gregory's Bald. We will be taking the Twentymile Loop up to the top of the bald on Saturday and camp out at campsite 13, then head back down completing the loop on Sunday. Should be great views of the leaves changing.
Finally, we have been discussing three possibilities for a fall break trip.
Backpacking Cumberland Is, GA
Sea Kayaking on Fontana Lake, NC
Surf Trip (Round 2) on the SC coast
