Communication & Information, The Florida State University (FSU),
announces three fall 2010 colloquium focusing on LIS education:

Collaborative Syllabus Development: A case study

discuss the collaborative development of a syllabus for a doctoral
seminar in qualitative methods that they will be submitting for approval
this semester.

Quality, Professionalism, or Mediocrity: The role of accreditation in
the information disciplines

, Assistant Professor, School of Library & Information Studies,
University of Alabama, will provide an overview of the role of
accreditation in professional education.

New Technologies for Teaching & Learning

Dr. Lorri Mon

will introduce recent technological innovations for teaching and
