The School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University (CSU) is advertising for a Professor in Information Studies.

The School of Information Studies is Australia’s largest provider of online education for the library and information professions. With over 1,700 students, the School has recently implemented a comprehensive program of curriculum renewal, and is experiencing burgeoning enrolments. The position will play a key leadership role in the research and teaching conducted across the School of Information Studies. Some teaching and/or administrative duties may be required. The appointee will also be expected to engage extensively with the information professions at large, as well as with the wider university community.

The successful candidate would normally be required to work on the CSU campus at Wagga Wagga, NSW, Australia, although in some instances an arrangement in which they are based off campus in another location within Australia may be negotiable.
