This position serves on the front lines of Interlochen’s new institutional archives initiative, providing much needed assistance in the organization of the archives across campus and assistance in the cataloging of print, historical and audio collections. Persons in this position would gain valuable experience assisting the archivist in a variety of capacities. Main job functions would include cataloging archive collections as well as preparing an online interface for those collections in preparation for the Interlochen Arts Academy 50th anniversary. Qualifications: Candidates should be pursuing a Master’s in Library Science with an interest in archival work. This person must be technologically savvy, be able to learn new software quickly, extremely detailed oriented, and be willing to participate in a team environment. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in digital collections management and web design.
