The Strategic Planning Committee has invited you, as stakeholders in Extension programs, to share you input on the UT Extension Strategic Plan by completing the survey (linked below) by August 6, 2010.

I apologize the late notice, this was my first contact- county offices may have been contacted earlier. Your input is valuable, please ask other members to complete the survey and forward this message to your members. If you have already completed the survey, thank you! If not, I hope this is only a reminder.

Subject: Advancing Tennessee: Strategic Planning Stakeholder Survey

Dear Colleagues,

On July 12, we shared details with you about the online stakeholder survey being conducted as part of our strategic planning effort. In the first two weeks, we received over 600 completed surveys. Great job! Thank you for your excellent work!

This letter is a reminder to please distribute invitations to everyone contacted by any means through August 6, 2010. This includes, but is not limited to, every person who attends an Extension meeting; visits the Extension Office; receives an on-site visit from you; or receives an Extension newsletter (whether email or paper). You may post the invitation to Extension websites, and you may share the invitation during radio and TV programs. Regardless of the contact method, please share the invitation. This applies to all personnel (Extension Agents, Administrative Assistants, Program Assistants, Specialists, and others). Please note that the invitation is available at the following links:

Black and White Invitation <http://utextension.tennessee.edu/strategicplanning/Documents/Strategic%20Planning%20Stakeholders%20Invitation%20BW.pdf>

Color Invitation <http://utextension.tennessee.edu/strategicplanning/Documents/Strategic%20Planning%20Stakeholders%20Invitation%20Color.pdf>

If you choose, you may provide your contacts with opportunities to complete the survey. For example, you may provide a computer with an Internet connection at an Extension workshop or other event. The responses we receive to this survey will contribute to the UT Extension Strategic Plan. This is a voluntary, anonymous survey. Participants may stop at anytime. We will NOT know the IP address or name of respondents. All responses will be grouped with those of others across the state. We anticipate it will take 20 minutes or less to complete this survey. The survey is found at the link below:

For individuals who do not have Internet access, the invitation directs them to their local Extension Office. Please assist these individuals by either making a computer available or providing a paper copy of the survey (attached). We request that you enter responses for all completed paper copies on or before August 6, 2010, by clicking the above link.

On behalf of the Strategic Planning Leadership Team, we thank you for your participation. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us.

Yours truly,
