Parking Details for Move-in WeekendWe've received numerous questions in our office about parking details for Move-in Weekend. During Move-in Weekend, police will be around campus to direct families where to park. The police will be directing you to the nearest parking lots and curbs around the buildings for short term unloading purposes. Then, you will be asked move your cars to lots away from the buildings for more long term parking. No parking permit is required for students or families during Move-in Weekend. Move-In Weekend InformationMove-in for freshmen students who will be living in campus residence halls will begin on Saturday, August 14. Halls will open to Freshmen Women at 8:00 AM and to Freshmen Men at 1:00 PM. Upperclassmen may move into campus residence halls beginning at 8:00 AM on Sunday, August 15, 2010. On Move-in day, proceed to your student's residence hall where staff and police will direct you to unloading and parking. If you have a dolly or pull cart for opening day and basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrench, etc.), having them on hand for move-in can be very beneficial.
