next offering of Business Reference 101 closes next Wednesday, August 11!
The course, which will be held August 16-September 17,
has consistently sold out, so if you want to take advantage of this amazing learning
opportunity, DON’T WAIT!
This online course is tailored for public, special and
academic librarians and other researchers and library staff who may feel
somewhat intimidated when faced with business reference questions. It is
primarily geared towards beginners, but seasoned business researchers could
take the course as a skills refresher. Access to proprietary databases,
increased competence in business reference and confidence in responding to
patrons’ business reference questions are just a few things you’ll
get from this online course.

Registration is $130 for RUSA members, $175 for ALA members,
$210 for non-members, and $100 for student and retired members of ALA.
Through the end of August, we are offering group discounts
to any and all institutions with two or more students enrolled in the same
course at the same time.
As of September 1, group discounts will only apply to those
institutions that have an active organizational membership with ALA.
