I would like toI piggyback on this email with a quick question to the group.  We have people working in Extension on Post-retirement appointments.  They’ve retired with federal benefits and are receiving an annuity.  Their status with us is as a part-time temporary employee.  I thought that when they reached 65 they should sign up for Medicare Part A and Part B but a woman at Medicare told one employee that as long as he was working he only needed to sign up for Part A until he quit working all together.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks much,

Rosemary Veach

Please let me know if you have had salary changes since Herb last compiled them.  Thanks.
