31—     What the Health Care Reform Law Means to You

Panelists will provide an overview of the recently-passed national health care 
reform law; outline key provisions of the reform law, and the implementation 
timeline. Panelists will also discuss what the health care law reform means for 
those with employer-based coverage, Medicaid, and Medicare; uninsured 
individuals; and small businesses.

US Ambassador to Egypt, Margaret Scobey, will offer an overview and insights 
into the unresolved regional conflicts in the Middle East that continue to 
involve US interests.  Her remarks will include a discussion of the changes in 
the practice of diplomacy that the communications revolution of the last thirty 
years has engendered.

discuss this topic and engage the audience in the discussion as well.  Panelists 
include:  Otis Stephens and Karla McKanders, UT College of Law; Jon Shefner, 
UT Department of Sociology and Roberto Martinez, Past-President of the 
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of East Tennessee and Chair of the Latino 
Committee for SunTrust Bank
