What the Health Care Reform Law Means to You

Panelists Carole R. Myers and Beth Uselton will provide an overview of the 
recently-passed national health care reform law; outline key provisions of the 
reform law, and the implementation timeline. Panelists will also discuss what the 
health care law reform means for those with employer-based coverage, 
Medicaid, and Medicare; uninsured individuals; and small businesses.

Dr. Myers is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Knoxville and a 
Fellow for Health Policy at the Howard H. Baker, Jr. Center for Public Policy. 

Beth Uselton is the Lead Organizer for the Tennessee Health Care Campaign, a 
non-partisan, non-profit statewide consumer advocacy organization focused on 
health care policy on both the state and national level.
