Duties and Responsibilities:

The Lee-Fendall House Museum & Garden in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia
is seeking a collections management intern. Intern responsibilities
will include, but are not limited to:

-       Weekly monitoring and recording of environmental conditions
(temperature, relative humidity, etc.)
-       Monitoring and reporting on artifact conditions
-       Cleaning of rooms and artifacts on display

-       Aiding in the installation and de-installation of exhibited artifacts
-       Compiling information for conservation priorities
-       Helping with basic artifact conservation
-       In addition, short-term, independent research projects related
to the collection can be developed
