The 2010
National Diversity in Libraries Conference is just over 2 weeks away, and there’s
still time to register!
Join your
colleagues for stimulating programs, thought provoking keynote addresses and an
all-round good time! Conference speakers include: Dr. Michael
Fowlin, renowned psychologist and actor; Cheryl Clarke, Director of the Office
of Diverse Community Affairs at Rutgers University; Luke Visconti, CEO of
Diversity Inc. Media, Jorge Schement, Dean, School of Communication and
Information at Rutgers University; and Roberta Stevens, ALA President.
The National Diversity in Libraries Conference
(NDLC) is a biennial meeting for library staff members and interested parties
to discuss diversity issues, especially as they impact libraries, library
staff, and library services. The conference will take place from July
14–16, 2010 on the Princeton University campus in Princeton, New Jersey.
