The intention of IIiX is to foster an integrated approach to information access by bringing together members of the research communities in information seeking behavior, interactive information retrieval, and information retrieval system design. Registration information: http://www.iiix2010.org/registration/ HCIR WORKSHOP The 4th Annual Workshop on Human-Computer Interaction and Information Retrieval (HCIR 2010) will be held in conjunction with IIiX 2010. HCIR is the study of information retrieval (IR) techniques that bring human intelligence into the search process. It combines research from the fields of human-computer interaction (HCI) and IR, placing an emphasis on human involvement in search activities.
