During
the Winter term 2010, Wayne State School of Library and Information Science students in Lecturer Nancy Czech's Integrated Library Systems course compiled a user-friendly, librarian-friendly manual for the Koha
preferences. Koha is an open source integrated library system which
may be customized by libraries to suit the libraries' needs. The
Winter class divided the lists of preferences (or options) on the Koha
system and described each one. The documentation associated with Koha
tends to be designed for a developer and not the end user. The
objective of the project was to create a manual which could be used and
understand by libraries who want to customize the system.
