There's Still Time to "Make the Move"
 The 5-week program Making the Move: Teaching Online begins on Tues,
July 13 with a face-to-face session and then moves online at
participants' convenience. This is the perfect opportunity to plan an
online or blended course. Topics include: essentials of a high-quality
online course, course design, course development, course facilitation &
community building, and course evaluation.

UT's clicker vendor Turning Technologies will conduct a Clicker
Technology workshop on Wed, July 14, from 9:30am-12:30pm in Hoskins 110.

Creating Student Responsibility 
for Deeper Learning: Wrap Up & Next Steps 
  35 faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants gathered on Wed,
June 16 for the TENN TLC and OIT Innovative Technology Consulting
co-sponsored workshop on Creating Student Responsibility for Deeper
Learning. Participants engaged in discussion and activities focused on
creating opportunities for students to be responsible using technology
and active learning techniques. 

They enjoyed hearing from colleagues about what works for them, sharing
their experiences with each other, and reflecting on their own course
designs.
