The Foundation's 12-acre arboretum contains a large living collection including a rose garden, perennial garden, and woodland, and supports the programs of the Arboretum School.

The Barnes Foundation Archives and Library provides research and
reference services to staff, students, faculty, docents, and outside

approximately 2,500 linear feet of archival materials, two small
circulating libraries, and a collection of rare books, journals, and

In preparation for the opening of a new library in the Foundation's new
facility in downtown Philadelphia, the Assistant Archivist and Librarian
will take part in the expansion, re-classification, and move of the art
library collection. This position will also participate in planning for
an archival exhibition program in the new building, as well as
